DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/19 13:52 Crop Prices Lower, Anticipating Rain in Argentina March contracts of corn, soybeans and both winter wheats closed lower Thursday, pressured by rain in the forecast for Argentina and bearish influence from this week's outside markets. March crude oil was among the minority of commodities trading higher Thursday, in spite of a report of higher inventory last week. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 4 cents and July corn was down 4 3/4 cents. March soybeans closed down 9 3/4 cents and July soybeans were down 11 1/4 cents. March KC wheat closed down 9 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 8 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 3 cents.
