By Todd Hultman DTN Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: December corn was unchanged, November soybeans were down 1 cent, and July Kansas City wheat was down 5 cents. CME Globex Recap: Thursday starts with rain along the Gulf Coast and across the northern Midwest, which is headed to the Delta and Ohio River Valley on Friday. Row-crop prices show little ability to trade higher while next week's forecast shows mild temperatures across most of the Midwest. Wheat prices are starting lower with harvest progress being made in the southwestern Plains. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 57.11 points (0.3%) lower at 21,410.03, the NASDAQ Composite was up 45.92 points (0.7%) to 6,233.95, and the S&P 500 was down 1.42 points (0.1%) to 2,435.61 Wednesday. DJIA futures were 28 points lower early Thursday morning. Asian markets were lower with Japan's Nikkei down 28.28 points (-0.1%), Hong Kong's Hang Seng losing 20.05 points (-0.1%), and China's Shanghai Composite down 8.76 points (-0.3%). European markets were trading lower with London's FTSE 100 down 45.59 points (-0.6%), Germany's DAX down 46.33 points (-0.4%), and France's CAC 40 off 36.99 points (-0.7%). The September euro was 0.0008 higher at 1.12240 while the U.S. dollar index was 0.08 lower at 97.47. September 30-year T-Bonds were 5/32 higher at 156'21 while August gold rallied $7.10 to $1,252.90. Crude oil was $0.23 lower at $42.76 while Brent crude was up $0.35 to $45.17. China's Dalian soybeans were modestly lower overnight while Malaysian palm oil futures were slightly higher.
