Basis for nearby delivery climbed to 70 over Chicago September today, up 65 cents since the first of July. Carries into October also flattened, with similar bids posted across the August, September and October delivery positions. Weekly Sales..USDA reported the slowest week of demand for U.S. wheat of the marketing year, comin in at only 5.3 mb across all classes. White and hard red winter tied for top spot with 1.7 mb for the week. Current year demand shows hard red winter running 13% behind a year ago, but the soft white tally stands 54% ahead of last year.
