DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/12 13:55 Row Crops Take a Hit, Still Standing December corn ended down 6 cents and November soybeans down 9 1/2 cents Tuesday after USDA surprised markets with higher-than-expected crop estimates for corn and soybeans. The closes were not as low as prices initially traded and December Chicago wheat escaped Tuesday's selling with a gain of 7 1/4 cents on a neutral report.
