Our guess is that trading is essentially done for the week. Today's slaughter totaled 120,000, 7,000 greater than last week, and 3,000 more than a year ago. Cattle futures closed moderately lower, thanks to long liquidation and a general lack of buying interest. Beef cutouts are expected to close lower with light to moderate box movement.
