White wheat basis turned mildly defensive against a higher Chicago market, but protein wheat basis levels held steady. Exporter bids showed club wheat premiums eroding over the past week, now posted at even money to soft white. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed a marked decline over the past week in shipments of U.S. wheat, coming at about half the prior week at 10 mb. Year-to-date loadings stand at 535 mb and 6% behind a year ago. Hard red winter was the top shipper with 5.8 mb, followed by red spring at 2.4 mb. White wheat registered only 1.4 mb.
