IA 1,200 122.00-123.00 194.00-195.00 LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP: A light to moderate live trade developed on Thursday in the South and parts of Nebraska at mostly $123, generally steady with the previous week's weighted averages. Northern dressed trade did not develop until Friday with the majority of deals marked at $195, also generally steady with the previous week, basis Nebraska. According to the Friday afternoon Mandatory report totals weekly trade volumes were as follows: KS 21,315; NE 40,108; TX 3,561; CO 0; IA 25,018. DTN MORNING COMMENTS: The country is quiet this morning with bids and asking prices not established as of yet. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until the second half of the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with generally light box movement. For the week ending December 29, 2018, Imported Beef Passed for Entry in the U.S. totaled 24,403, 95.50% of the previous week and 69.94% of the prior 4-week average.
