DTN Closing Livestock Comment 08/05 16:16 By a Slim Notion, Cattle Contracts Closed Higher Livestock contracts closed fully higher Wednesday, ready for Thursday's trade. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: The livestock complex walked away from Wednesday able to close higher in all three markets. Hog prices were lower on the National Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $0.26 with a weighted average of $38.49 on 8,465 head. December corn is up 3 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $1.20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 373.05 points and NASDAQ is up 57.24 points.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
