DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/15 13:53 Traders Put More Wheat, Oils in Thursday's Shopping Cart December soybean oil closed up 0.74 cent Thursday, a fifth day higher with help from supporting gains in palm oil and canola. All three U.S. wheats posted double-digit gains with September Minneapolis wheat achieving another new contract high at $8.94. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed down 4 cents and December corn was down 2 1/2 cents. August soybeans closed down 5 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 3 1/4 cents. September KC wheat closed up 12 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was up 17 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 21 1/4 cents. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.25 at 92.65. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 12.13 points at 34,921.10. August gold is up $4.80 at $1,829.80, September silver is up $0.13 at $26.40 and September copper is up $0.040. August crude oil is down $1.46 at $71.67, August heating oil is down $0.0321, August RBOB gasoline is down $0.0436 and August natural gas is down $0.048.
