Hog prices closed lower on the National Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $1.08 with a weighted average of $106.24 on 3,980 head. December corn is up 1/4 cent per bushel and December soybean meal is steady. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 774.91 points and NASDAQ is down 176.80 points.
