The big news of the day was the Sunday night fire at the JBS packing plant in Grand Island, NE. The damage appears to have been located mainly on the rendering side of the plant and did not impact the primary production areas. Operations were suspended today, but JBS said it plans to resume operations tomorrow, pending ongoing assessments of the situation.
