DTN Closing Grain Comments 11/02 14:06 Corn, Winter Wheat Step Back Tuesday One day after all three U.S. wheats made new contract highs Monday, December Minneapolis wheat held steady, while the two winter wheat contracts pulled back. December soybean meal posted an unexpected gain of $8.10, continuing to reassert its value after five months of persistent selling. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 6 cents and March corn was down 5 3/4 cents. January soybeans closed up 7 3/4 cents and March soybeans were up 8 3/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 8 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 5 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was unchanged. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.22 at 94.10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 146.41 points at 36,060.25. December gold is down $7.40 at $1,788.40, December silver is down $0.56 at $23.52 and December copper is down $0.0240. December crude oil is down $0.20 at $83.85, December heating oil is up $0.0052, December RBOB gasoline is up $0.0408 and December natural gas is up $0.335.
