DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/11 13:51 Minneapolis Leads Wheat Higher; Soybeans Trade Wide Range With Little Change The grain and soy markets came out of the overnight session mixed; corn and wheat were higher and soybeans and meal were lower. As Minneapolis and Kansas City wheat turned it around, all markets rose, with corn and soy finishing slightly above unchanged in front of Wednesday's January WASDE report. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 1 1/4 cents per bushel and December corn was up a half-cent. January soybeans closed up 2 cents, and November soybeans were down a half-cent. March KC wheat closed up 13 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 8 1/4 cents, and March Minneapolis wheat was up 14 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.340 at 95.650. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 106.69 points at 36,175.56. February gold is up $20.90 at $1,819.70, March silver is up $0.33 at $22.79 and March copper is up $0.0725 at $4.4245. February crude oil is up $3.03 at $81.26, February heating oil is up $0.0775, February RBOB is up $0.0834 and February natural gas is up $0.162.
