DTN Early Word Grains 01/11 05:57 Grain, Soybeans Bounce Early Tuesday after Monday's Correction March corn is up 3 1/4 cents per bushel, March soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, and March KC wheat is up 2 1/4 cents. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: March corn is up 3 1/4 cents per bushel, March soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, and March KC wheat is up 2 1/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: Early on Tuesday, Dow Jones futures are up, with European markets lower, and Asian markets higher. The bond market is lower. Weather in the central U.S. is mostly clear and warming after frigid weekend and Monday temperatures. In South America, it is still hot and dry in southern Brazil and Argentina before a weekend pattern change is expected to bring some rain. Traders await any new export sales announcements at 8 a.m., and CONAB's new crop estimate for Brazil corn and soybeans, likely to both be lower. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 162.79 at 36,068.67 and the S&P 500 down 6.74 at 4,670.29 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 1.78%. Early Tuesday, the March DJIA futures are up 85 points. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei down 256.08 (-0.90%) and China's Shanghai Composite down 43.30 points (+0.18%). European markets are mostly higher with London's FTSE 100 up 40.59 points (+0.55%), Germany's DAX up 183.77 points (+1.17%) and France's CAC 40 up 97.27 points (+1.37%). The March Euro is little changed at 1.13, and the March U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.060 at 95.93. The March 30-Year T-Bond is up 0.44%, while February gold is up 6.40 at $1,805 and Feb crude oil is up 1.08 at $79.31. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange are slightly higher as is soybean meal.
