DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/12 14:22 Soybeans Higher, Wheat Lower After USDA Reports March soybeans closed up 12 3/4 cents Wednesday after USDA cut the crop estimates for Brazil and Argentina. March KC wheat closed down 13 3/4 cents and other wheats were also lower after USDA raised the U.S. ending stocks estimate a little more than expected. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 2 cents and July corn was down 2 cents. March soybeans closed up 12 3/4 cents and July soybeans were up 12 3/4 cents. March KC wheat closed down 13 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 12 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 7 3/4 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.68 at 94.95. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 5.43 points at 36,246.59. February gold is up $8.60 at $1,827.10, March silver is up $0.43 at $23.25 and March copper is up $0.1380. February crude oil is up $1.35 at $82.57, February heating oil is up $0.0298, February RBOB gasoline is up $0.0311 and February natural gas is up $0.587.
