DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/18 14:33 Wheat Prices Rebound; Soybean Meal Sinks March contracts of all three U.S. wheats showed strong positive gains Tuesday, partly related to growing concerns about Russia threatening Ukraine. Meanwhile, March soybean meal fell $15.50 after Argentina received rain over the weekend and has more expected in this week's forecast. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 3 1/4 cents and July corn was up 3 cents. March soybeans closed down 8 1/2 cents and July soybeans were down 9 cents. March KC wheat closed up 27 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 27 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 28 3/4 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.52 at 95.69. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 500.05 points at 35,411.76. February gold is down $2.10 at $1,814.40, March silver is up $0.63 at $23.55 and March copper is down $0.0240. March crude oil is up $1.34 at $85.16, March heating oil is up $0.0367, March RBOB gasoline is up $0.0077 and March natural gas is up $0.019.
