DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/20 14:27 Soybean Oil Leads Grains, Pulls Soybeans Higher March soybean oil turned in the highest percentage gain among grain-related contracts Thursday, closing at a new three-month high of 62.88. Like much of this week's activity, soybean oil prices have been supported recently by rising crude oil prices, lifted by concerns of a possible conflict in Ukraine. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 1/2 cents and July corn was down 3/4 cents. March soybeans closed up 34 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 32 1/4 cents. March KC wheat closed down 3 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 6 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 5 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.19 at 95.69. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 228.19 points at 35,256.84. February gold is down $2.20 at $1,841.0, March silver is up $0.43 at $24.66 and March copper is up $0.0990. March crude oil is down $0.09 at $85.71, March heating oil is down $0.0207, March RBOB gasoline is up $0.0075 and March natural gas is down $0.241.
