CME Globex Recap: Early Thursday, Dow Jones futures and the world's stock markets are trading lower after Russia launched a wide-scale attack against the entire country of Ukraine. Most grain prices are at or near limit-up and April crude oil is trading higher, near $100 a barrel. USDA's Ag Outlook Forum is set to begin Thursday morning amid volatile circumstances. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 482.57 at 33,596.61 and the S&P 500 down 44.11 at 4,304.76 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 1.95%. Early Wednesday, March Dow Jones futures are trading down 818 points. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 1.81% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.70%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 2.31%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 3.70% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 3.70%. The March euro is down $0.0099 at $1.1214. The March U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.68 at 96.87. The March 30-year T-bond is up 1 21/32nds, while April gold is up $45.60 at $1,956.0 and April crude oil is up $7.67 at $98.77. On China's Dalian exchange, May corn was up 1.4%, March soybeans were up 4.2%, May soybean meal was up 3.2% and May soybean oil was up 3.5%. May Malaysian palm oil is trading up 7.8%.
