DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/04 14:04 US Wheats Climb Higher With Another Weekend of Fighting Ahead May contracts of all three U.S. wheats finished higher again Friday with the Chicago contract up its daily price limit for a fourth consecutive day. May soybean oil posted Friday's largest percentage loss among grains, closing down 2.01 cents after Malaysian palm oil posted an even larger percentage loss earlier Friday. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 6 1/2 cents and December corn was up 17 1/2 cents. May soybeans closed down 7 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 3 3/4 cents. May KC wheat closed up 64 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 75 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 28 3/4 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.73 at 98.52. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 280.91 points at 33,513.75. April gold is up $34.10 at $1,970.0, May silver is up $0.64 at $25.86 and May copper is up $0.1355. April crude oil is up $6.61 at $114.28, April heating oil is up $0.2637, April RBOB gasoline is up $0.2390 and April natural gas is up $0.284.
