DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/09 14:21 Wheat, Crude Oil See Big Drops Wednesday All three U.S. wheats were limit down Wednesday and April crude oil was sharply lower after the United Arab Emirates said it would support higher oil production. May corn and soybeans were also lower with little impact from USDA's latest WASDE estimates. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 20 cents and December corn was down 7 cents. May soybeans closed down 18 cents and November soybeans were up 1/2 cents. May KC wheat closed down 85 cents, May Chicago wheat was down 85 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was down 60 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 1.07 at 98.02. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 700.83 points at 33,333.47. April gold is down $57.80 at $1,985.50, May silver is down $1.04 at $25.86 and May copper is down $0.1325. April crude oil is down $15.35 at $108.35, April heating oil is down $1.0058, April RBOB gasoline is down $0.4096 and April natural gas is down $0.014.
