DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/15 13:52 Wheat Soars, Crude Oil Falls Back on Outside Concerns All three U.S. wheats closed higher Tuesday with May Chicago wheat leading the pack, up 58 cents at $11.54 1/4, while row crops were mixed. April crude oil is trading down over $6.00 Tuesday afternoon with more concerns about coronavirus lockdowns in China. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 9 3/4 cents and December corn was down 1 1/4 cents. May soybeans closed down 11 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 14 cents. May KC wheat closed up 57 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 58 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 40 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.08 at 99.11. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 309.31 points at 33,254.55. April gold is down $34.70 at $1,926.10, May silver is down $0.15 at $25.15 and May copper is down $0.030. April crude oil is down $6.36 at $96.65, April heating oil is down $0.2347, April RBOB gasoline is down $0.1650 and April natural gas is down $0.094.
