DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/18 14:15 Grains Mostly Lower Friday; Russian Missiles Keep Firing May contracts of corn, soybeans and all three U.S. wheats ended lower Friday and were lower for the week. May soybean oil dropped 2.34 cents Friday and had the largest percentage loss in this week's grain sector as both palm oil and crude oil prices were also lower on the week. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 12 3/4 cents and December corn was up 1/2 cents. May soybeans closed down 1/2 cent and November soybeans were down 2 1/2 cents. May KC wheat closed down 21 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat was down 34 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was down 18 3/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.30 at 98.28. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 70.37 points at 34,551.13. April gold is down $14.40 at $1,928.80, May silver is down $0.51 at $25.11 and May copper is up $0.0260. April crude oil is up $1.36 at $104.34, April heating oil is up $0.1163, April RBOB gasoline is up $0.0097 and April natural gas is down $0.098.
