CME Globex Recap: Early Friday, Dow Jones futures are trading slightly higher with stocks around the world mostly lower. President Joe Biden's trip to Europe sought to unify NATO countries this week and find new ways to pressure Russia, including the possibility of removing Russia from the group of G-20 nations. According to CNBC.com, the U.S. agreed to supply Europe with at least 15 billion cubic meters more of liquified natural gas this year. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 349.44 at 34,707.94 and the S&P 500 up 63.92 at 4,520.16 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 2.34%, near the highest in over two years. Early Friday, June Dow Jones futures are trading up 29 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.14% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.17%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.43%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.11% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.05%. The June euro is up $0.0003 at $1.1035. The June U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.07 at 98.73. The June 30-year T-bond is up 1/32nd, while June gold is down $6.80 at $1,955.40 and May crude oil is down $2.40 at $109.94. On China's Dalian exchange, May corn was down 0.4%, May soybeans were down 1.5%, May soybean meal was down 0.9% and May soybean oil was down 2.0%. June Malaysian palm oil is trading up 0.5%.
