DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/30 13:45 Grains, Crude Oil Higher as Russian Promise Fizzles Grains were mostly higher Wednesday after Russian shelling continued near Kyiv overnight, despite Tuesday's promise to withdraw Russian forces from the area. May KC wheat was the largest percentage gainer in the grain sector, closing up 20 cents at $10.44 1/2. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 11 3/4 cents and December corn was up 3 1/4 cents. May soybeans closed up 21 cents and November soybeans were up 21 3/4 cents. May KC wheat closed up 20 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 13 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 15 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.49 at 97.95. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 105.85 points at 35,188.34. June gold is up $19.60 at $1,931.80, May silver is up $0.25 at $24.99 and May copper is up $0.0120. May crude oil is up $3.27 at $107.51, May heating oil is up $0.0548, May RBOB gasoline is up $0.1077 and May natural gas is up $0.262.
