DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/08 14:16 Grains End Bullish Week With Higher Closes Friday May contracts of corn, soybeans, soy products and all three U.S. wheats not only closed higher Friday, but also for the entire week. USDA's WASDE report was largely neutral for the top three crops, but also reinforced notions of strong U.S. demand. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 11 cents and December corn was up 7 cents. May soybeans closed up 43 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 29 1/4 cents. May KC wheat closed up 36 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 31 1/2 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 27 3/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.08 at 99.84. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 232.43 points at 34,816.0. June gold is up $8.90 at $1,946.70, May silver is up $0.19 at $24.93 and May copper is up $0.0270. May crude oil is up $2.01 at $98.04, May heating oil is up $0.0490, May RBOB gasoline is up $0.0803 and May natural gas is down $0.084.
