DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/11 13:59 US Wheat Prices Rise, While Soybean Prices Fall May contracts of all three U.S. wheats posted double-digit gains Monday, continuing to find support from a grim situation in Ukraine. May corn was down 4 1/4 cents and May soybeans were down 33 3/4 cents with soybeans possibly pressured by coronavirus concerns in China. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 4 1/4 cents and December corn was up 2 cents. May soybeans closed down 33 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 9 3/4 cents. May KC wheat closed up 35 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 30 3/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 14 3/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.19 at 99.94. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 263.73 points at 34,457.39. June gold is up $6.40 at $1,952.0, May silver is up $0.19 at $25.02 and May copper is down $0.0955. May crude oil is down $3.62 at $94.64, May heating oil is down $0.0288, May RBOB gasoline is down $0.1121 and May natural gas is up $0.334.
