DTN Early Word Grains 04/26 07:54 U.S. Wheat Prices Higher, Showing Weather Threats July corn was up 6 1/2 cents, July soybeans were up 12 1/2 cents and July KC wheat was up 19 cents Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: July corn was up 6 1/2 cents, July soybeans were up 12 1/2 cents and July KC wheat was up 19 cents CME Globex Recap: Early Tuesday, Dow Jones futures are trading lower ahead of reports on March durable goods orders and new home sales. Tuesday's earnings reports include Alphabet (Google) and Microsoft. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 238.06 at 34,049.46 and the S&P 500 up 24.34 at 4,296.12 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 2.83%, down from its highest in three years. Early Monday, June Dow Jones futures are trading down 72 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.41% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.44%. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.38%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 1.02% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.87%. The June euro is down $0.0022 at $1.0710. The June U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.12 at 101.89. The June 30-year T-bond is up 10/32nds, while June gold is up $7.90 at $1,903.90 and June crude oil is down $0.61 at $97.93. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was up 0.3%, May soybeans were down 2.9%, September soybean meal was down 0.9% and September soybean oil was down 2.9%. June Malaysian palm oil is trading up 1.7%.
