DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/04 13:49 Wheat, Soybean Oil Climb Higher While Meal Slides Lower July contracts of corn soybeans and all three wheats closed higher Tuesday, fueled by gains in wheat as concerns about India's wheat crop got more attention. July soybean oil closed up 2.15 cents with support from another day of higher trading in crude oil. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 1 1/4 cents and December corn was up 1 cent. July soybeans closed up 10 cents and November soybeans were up 8 1/4 cents. July KC wheat closed up 30 1/2 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 31 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 24 1/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.19 at 103.31. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 43.86 points at 33,172.65. June gold is up $2.70 at $1,873.30, May silver is down $0.16 at $22.51 and May copper is up $0.0405. June crude oil is up $5.43 at $107.84, June heating oil is up $0.1466, June RBOB gasoline is up $0.1589 and June natural gas is up $0.451.
