DTN Early Word Grains 05/10 05:47 Wheat Leads Light Rebound in Grain Prices Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: July corn was up 3/4 cent, July soybeans were up 4 cents and July KC wheat was up 4 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading higher, in line with European stocks after the Dow fell to its lowest close in 2022. Rising interest rates, high oil prices, the war in Ukraine and ongoing concerns about a slower economy in China all continue to weigh on the outlook for the U.S. economy ahead. On Monday, the port city of Odesa was hit by several Russian missiles. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 653.67 at 32,245.70 and the S&P 500 down 132.10 at 3,991.24 as the 10-year Treasury yield ended at 3.08%, near the highest level in three and a half years. Early Monday, June Dow Jones futures are trading up 301 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.58% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.06%. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.62%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 1.53% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 1.35%. The June euro is up $0.0007 at $1.0588. The June U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.08 at 103.61. The June 30-year T-bond is up 31/32nds, while June gold is up $4.00 at $1,862.60 and June crude oil is down $0.09 at $103.00. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was down 0.6%, July soybeans were down 1.7%, September soybean meal was down 0.7% and September soybean oil was down 1.2%. June Malaysian palm oil is trading down 0.0%.
