DTN Closing Livestock Comment 05/12 16:16 Livestock Contracts Plummet Thursday Heading into Friday, livestock contracts are hoping the market finds some support ahead of the weekend. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: It was a day of sharp losses for the entire livestock complex. Hog prices closed lower on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $1.93 with a weighted average of $106.36 on 5,014 head. July corn is up 3 cents per bushel, and July soybean meal is down $1.90. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 103.81 points.
