CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Friday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading a little higher, in line with stock markets in Europe and Asia. Here in the U.S., earnings season continues and were responsible for Thursday's higher stock prices, according to CNBC.com. At 7:30 a.m. CDT Friday, the U.S. Census Bureau will release personal income and consumer spending data for April. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 516.91 at 32,637.19 and the S&P 500 up 79.11 at 4,057.84 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 2.76%, down from the highest level in three and a half years. Early Friday, June Dow Jones futures are trading up 33 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.66% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.23%. European markets are mostly higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.13%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.44% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.76%. The June euro is up $0.0007 at $1.0734. The June U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.11 at 101.75. The June 30-year T-bond is steady, while June gold is up $7.70 at $1,855.30 and July crude oil is up $0.42 at $114.51. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was up 0.2%, July soybeans were up 2.3%, September soybean meal was up 2.3% and September soybean oil was up 1.4%. June Malaysian palm oil is trading down 1.7%.
