DTN Closing Grain Comments 06/03 14:01 Grains Mostly Lower to Round Out Bearish Week Except for oats and soybean oil, the active contracts of grains and oilseeds were lower Friday, rounding out a bearish week that saw big losses in corn and wheat. Most other commodities were also lower Friday, except for the unquenchably bullish energy sector. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 3 1/4 cents and December corn was down 4 1/4 cents. July soybeans closed down 31 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 14 3/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 22 1/2 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 18 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 8 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.36 at 102.19. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 269.71 points at 32,978.57. June gold is down $19.90 at $1,851.50, July silver is down $0.36 at $21.92 and July copper is down $0.0835. July crude oil is up $1.63 at $118.50, July heating oil is up $0.0706, July RBOB gasoline is up $0.0556 and July natural gas is up $0.017.
