DTN Closing Grain Comments 06/07 14:05 Soybean Meal Charges Higher Tuesday, While Wheats Retreat July soybean meal closed up $10.30 Tuesday, the leading percentage gainer among grain-related contracts, and also helped July soybeans close up 29 cents. New-crop contracts of all three U.S. wheats gave back part of Monday's big gains as events in Ukraine remain highly uncertain. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 14 1/2 cents and December corn was up 11 1/2 cents. July soybeans closed up 29 cents and November soybeans were up 16 1/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 20 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 21 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 5 3/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.14 at 102.31. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 152.30 points at 33,068.08. June gold is up $11.60 at $1,855.30, July silver is up $0.14 at $22.23 and July copper is up $0.0085. July crude oil is up $1.16 at $119.66, July heating oil is down $0.0299, July RBOB gasoline is down $0.0198 and July natural gas is down $0.002.
