DTN Closing Grain Comments 06/09 13:55 Row Crops Push Higher; Tight Supplies, Hotter Temperatures Ahead July corn was up 8 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 29 cents, both experiencing another day of bull spreads with hotter temperatures expected in the extended forecast. All three wheats ended with small losses ahead of USDA's WASDE and Crop Production reports, due out Friday at 11 a.m. CDT. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 8 1/2 cents and December corn was down 1 cents. July soybeans closed up 29 cents and November soybeans were up 14 1/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 1 1/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 3 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 11 1/2 cents. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.54 at 103.09. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 137.42 points at 32,773.48. August gold is down $5.40 at $1,851.10, July silver is down $0.31 at $21.78 and July copper is down $0.0770. July crude oil is down $0.24 at $121.87, July heating oil is up $0.1062, July RBOB gasoline is up $0.0734 and July natural gas is up $0.291.
