DTN Early Word Grains 06/21 05:54 Soybean Oil, Corn Lead Crop Prices Lower July corn was down 11 1/2 cents, July soybeans were down 17 cents and July KC wheat was down 7 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst PRE-6 a.m. GLOBEX PRICES: July corn was down 11 1/2 cents, July soybeans were down 17 cents and July KC wheat was down 7 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading higher, shaking off some of the bearish reaction to last week's 0.75% hike in the federal funds target. Russian forces continue to press their attack in eastern Ukraine and palm oil's two-year bull rally shows signs of ending. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 38.29 at 29,888.78 and the S&P 500 up 8.07 at 3,674.84 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.24%, near the highest level in three and a half years. Early Tuesday, June Dow Jones futures are trading up 517 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.84% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.26%. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.79%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 1.30% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 1.93%. The September euro is up $0.0084 at $1.0641. The September U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.71 at 103.78. The September 30-year T-bond is down 17/32nds, while August gold is down $1.90 at $1,838.70 and August crude oil is up $2.50 at $110.49. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was down 0.4%, July soybeans were down 2.4%, September soybean meal was down 1.3% and September soybean oil was down 2.6%. June Malaysian palm oil is trading up 0.1%.
