DTN Early Word Grains 06/27 07:19 Soybeans, Wheat Overcome Lower Start Early Monday December corn was down 15 cents, November soybeans were up 5 cents and September KC wheat was up 4 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading a little higher, in line with stocks in Europe and Asia. With ongoing concerns about inflation and higher interest rates, investors returned to the long side of stocks Friday and will watch for the report on May durable goods orders later Monday morning. G7 nations met in Germany Sunday, discussing ways to turn up more pressure on Russia and made a commitment to more long-term aid for Ukraine. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 823.32 at 31,500.68 and the S&P 500 up 116.01 at 3,911.74 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.12%, down from the highest level in three and a half years. Early Monday, June Dow Jones futures are trading up 64 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.43% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.88%. European markets are mostly higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.63%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.99% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.45%. The September euro is up $0.0035 at $1.0647. The September U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.33 at 103.63. The September 30-year T-bond is down 13/32nds, while August gold is up $9.40 at $1,839.70 and August crude oil is down $0.56 at $107.06. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was up 0.1%, July soybeans were down 0.3%, September soybean meal was up 0.5% and September soybean oil was down 0.3%. September Malaysian palm oil is trading up 3.9%.
