DTN Early Word Grains 06/30 05:51 Row Crop Prices Lower Ahead of Thursday's Key USDA Reports December corn was down 5 1/2 cents, November soybeans were down 5 1/2 cents and September KC wheat was up 4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Thursday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading lower, in line with European stocks and the same bearish culprits of rising prices and the anticipation of higher interest rates are being cited as the second quarter of 2022 comes to a close. USDA's weekly report of export sales is due out at 7:30 a.m. CDT, along with weekly U.S. jobless claims, reports on U.S. personal incomes and consumer spending and an update of the U.S. Drought Monitor. USDA's Acreage and June 1 Grain Stocks reports are due out at 11 a.m. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 82.32 at 31,029.31 and the S&P 500 down 2.72 at 3,818.83 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.09%, down from the highest level in three and a half years. Early Thursday, June Dow Jones futures are trading down 318 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 1.54% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.10%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 1.59%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 2.27% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 2.16%. The September euro is down $0.0007 at $1.0495. The September U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.05 at 104.90. The September 30-year T-bond is up 8/32nds, while August gold is down $1.30 at $1,816.20 and August crude oil is down $0.04 at $109.74. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was down 0.7%, September soybeans were down 0.0%, September soybean meal was up 0.4% and September soybean oil was down 0.5%. September Malaysian palm oil is trading up 0.7%.
