DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/13 13:56 Crop Prices Weather the Storm of Higher Consumer Prices, End Mixed Crop prices were mixed Wednesday with August soybean meal closing up $12.40 and showing the largest percentage gain among grain-related contracts, while August soybean oil finished with the largest percentage loss, down 1.11 cents. Row crops posted small gains and wheats posted small losses. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed up 6 cents and December corn was up 8 3/4 cents. August soybeans closed up 16 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 6 1/2 cents. September KC wheat closed down 5 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 3 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 5 cents. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.16 at 107.75. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 192.20 points at 30,789.13. August gold is up $9.40 at $1,734.20, July silver is up $0.22 at $19.18 and July copper is up $0.0305. August crude oil is up $0.08 at $95.92, August heating oil is up $0.0015, August RBOB gasoline is down $0.0431 and August natural gas is up $0.522.
