DTN Early Word Grains 07/19 05:50 Row Crop Prices Sag Lower Early Tuesday December corn was down 14 cents, November soybeans were down 16 1/2 cents and September KC wheat was down 5 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading higher with more earnings due out from the likes of Johnson and Johnson, Lockheed Martin and Netflix, reported the Wall Street Journal. The September euro is starting higher as consumer prices in the Euro zone were reported up 8.6% in June from a year ago. The European Central Bank is expected to raise its interest rate by a half-percent Thursday, the first increase in eleven years. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 215.65 at 31,072.61 and the S&P 500 down 32.31 at 3,830.85 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 2.96%, down from the highest level in three and a half years. Early Tuesday, September Dow Jones futures are trading up 225 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.65% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.33%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.21%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.27% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.57%. The September euro is up $0.0081 at $1.0278. The September U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.69 at 106.54. The September 30-year T-bond is down 17/32nds, while August gold is up $0.20 at $1,710.40 and September crude oil is down $0.58 at $98.88. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was down 0.6%, September soybeans were up 1.6%, September soybean meal was up 0.5% and September soybean oil was up 1.7%. September Malaysian palm oil is trading down 2.0%.
