DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/25 13:57 Crop Prices Push Higher, Even a Ukraine Vows to Ship Grain December corn closed up 19 1/2 cents, November soybeans were up 30 1/4 cents and all three U.S. wheats ended higher Monday, after a turbulent few days which saw Friday's agreement to allow the shipment of Ukrainian grain threatened by Russia's attack on Odesa over the weekend. Russia followed the move with an announcement Monday it would be cutting the flow of natural gas to Germany from 40% of capacity to 20%. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed up 15 3/4 cents and December corn was up 19 1/2 cents. August soybeans closed up 38 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 30 1/4 cents. September KC wheat closed up 19 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was up 11 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 13 cents. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.32 at 106.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 23.79 points at 31,875.50. August gold is down $9.40 at $1,718.0, September silver is down $0.29 at $18.33 and September copper is up $0.0095. September crude oil is up $1.71 at $96.41, September heating oil is up $0.0454, September RBOB gasoline is up $0.0894 and September natural gas is up $0.379.
