DTN Early Word Grains 07/28 05:55 Crop Prices Higher Early Thursday, Export Sales Ahead December corn was up 10 cents, November soybeans were up 8 cents and September KC wheat was up 16 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Thursday, U.S. stocks on the Dow Jones Industrials are trading down 60 points one day after the Federal Reserve raised the federal funds target by 0.75% to a range of 2.25% to 2.50%, the highest since 2019. Earnings reports continue with Mastercard on deck Thursday. USDA's weekly export sales report is due out at 7:30 a.m. CDT, the same time the U.S. Commerce Department will update its estimate of second-quarter GDP. The Energy Department's weekly report of energy inventories is set for 9:30 a.m. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 436.05 at 32,197.59 and the S&P 500 up 102.56 at 4,023.61 as the 10-Year Treasury yield fell to 2.73%, near the lowest in over three months. Early Thursday, September Dow Jones futures are trading down 47 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.36% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.21%. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.27%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.12% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.01%. The September euro is down $0.0041 at $1.0195. The September U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.13 at 106.47. The September 30-year T-bond is down 30/32nds, while August gold is up $21.00 at $1,740.10 and September crude oil is up $1.82 at $99.08. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was up 1.1%, September soybeans were up 2.1%, September soybean meal was up 1.5% and September soybean oil was up 2.7%. September Malaysian palm oil is trading up 3.5%.
