Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, up $2.32 with a weighted average of $123.69 on 6,089 head. December corn is up 14 1/2 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $5.50. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 424.38 points.
