DTN Early Word Livestock Comments 08/26 06:24 Limited Price Movement Expected There was no real change in cash cattle trade Thursday, leaving little for the market to trade on other than the weakness of corn, which provided support to feeder cattle. Hogs were able to close higher after some initial follow-through to the downside. Cash was significantly lower again. GENERAL COMMENTS: The bigger news for the livestock complex, as well as the grain complex, was that the Foreign Agricultural Service retracted the weekly export sales information of Thursday. They had migrated to a new reporting system, which encountered some problems with reporting that made the numbers inaccurate. Thus, the weekly export report Thursday provided much confusion.
