DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/08 13:55 Corn, Winter Wheat Lower Thursday, While Soybean Oil Finds Support December contracts of winter wheat posted losses Thursday, losing some of Wednesday's bullish enthusiasm over the possibility of Russia not allowing more Ukrainian grain exports. December soybean oil got a lift from Thursday's higher crude oil price, but December corn was down 2 1/2 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 2 1/2 cents and July corn was down 2 1/2 cents. November soybeans closed up 2 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 4 1/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 8 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 15 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 1 1/2 cents. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.19 at 109.65. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 138.56 points at 31,719.84. December gold is down $7.10 at $1,720.70, December silver is up $0.22 at $18.48 and December copper is up $0.1165. October crude oil is up $1.82 at $83.76, October heating oil is down $0.0426, October RBOB gasoline is up $0.0388 and October natural gas is up $0.075.
