DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/12 14:08 Soybeans, Meal Soar on USDA's Tighter Supply Estimate November soybeans closed up 76 cents and December soybean meal was up $23.90, fueled by USDA's estimate U.S. ending soybean stocks are headed to their lowest level in seven years. December corn was up 11 cents with ending stocks estimated at their lowest level in 10 years. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed up 11 cents and July corn was up 9 cents. November soybeans closed up 76 cents and July soybeans were up 61 3/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 2 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 10 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 1 cent. The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.69 at 108.31. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 194.11 points at 32,345.82. December gold is up $8.40 at $1,737.0, December silver is up $1.03 at $19.80 and December copper is up $0.0410. October crude oil is up $1.37 at $88.16, October heating oil is up $0.0441, October RBOB gasoline is up $0.0216 and October natural gas is up $0.250.
