DTN Early Word Grains 09/13 05:51 Soybeans, Wheat Starting Higher After Monday's Bullish WASDE Report December corn was down 2 cents, November soybeans were up 10 cents and December KC wheat was up 8 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY GLOBEX PRICES: December corn was down 2 cents, November soybeans were up 10 cents and December KC wheat was up 8 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, U.S. stock futures are starting higher with small gains in Europe and Asia ahead of Tuesday morning's report of U.S. consumer prices in August. The report is expected to show some easing in the rate of inflation, but probably won't be enough to discourage the Fed from another rate hike on September 21. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 229.63 at 32,381.34 and the S&P 500 up 43.05 at 4,110.41 as the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.36%, near its highest yield in 11 years. Early Tuesday, December Dow Jones futures are trading up 119 points. Asian markets are slightly higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.25% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.05%. European markets are also a little higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.06%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.21% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.46%. The December euro is up $0.0036 at $1.0158. The December U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.37 at 107.95. The December 30-year T-bond is up 13/32nds, while December gold is down $4.40 at $1,736.20 and October crude oil is up $0.98 at $88.76. On China's Dalian exchange, January corn was up 1.2%, November soybeans were up 4.3%, January soybean meal was up 5.4% and January soybean oil was up 2.8%. November Malaysian palm oil is trading up 4.9%.
