DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/19 13:55 Winter Wheat Prices Get Clubbed Monday, Shipments Continue December contracts of KC and Chicago wheat were down 25 1/2 cents and 29 1/4 cents, respectively, pressured by noncommercials responding to news of more shipments out of Ukraine. On the other hand, December soybean meal closed up $7.60 and pulled November soybeans up 12 3/4 cents, still showing strong signs of demand in front of harvest. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed up 1 cent and July corn was up 1 cent. November soybeans closed up 12 3/4 cents and July soybeans were up 15 1/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 25 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 29 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 20 3/4 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.31 at 110.05. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 83.41 points at 30,739.01. December gold is down $4.70 at $1,678.80, December silver is down $0.02 at $19.37 and December copper is down $0.0090. October crude oil is up $0.46 at $85.57, October heating oil is up $0.1245, October RBOB gasoline is up $0.0426 and October natural gas is down $0.039.
