DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/05 13:55 Crop Prices Mixed as US Dollar Moves Higher, OPEC Cuts Production Target November soybeans closed down 13 3/4 cents, the largest percentage loss in Wednesday's grain sector, on a day when trading volume was quiet and other crop prices were mixed. November crude oil is trading over $1 higher after OPEC+ announced it would cut its production target by 2 million barrels per day in November. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed up 1 cent and July corn was up 1 1/2 cents. November soybeans closed down 13 3/4 cents and July soybeans were down 12 3/4 cents. December KC wheat closed up 1 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 1 cent and December Minneapolis wheat was up 5 1/4 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 1.15 at 111.13. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 26.28 points at 30,290.04. December gold is down $6.50 at $1,724.0, December silver is down $0.46 at $20.64 and December copper is up $0.0275. November crude oil is up $1.22 at $87.74, November heating oil is up $0.1483, November RBOB gasoline is down $0.0147 and November natural gas is up $0.112.
