DTN Early Word Grains 10/11 05:52 Wheat Pulls Back, Outside Markets Show Recession Concerns December corn was down 2 cents, November soybeans were down 5 cents and December KC wheat was down 13 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY GLOBEX PRICES: December corn was down 2 cents, November soybeans were down 5 cents and December KC wheat was down 13 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, stock futures in the U.S. were starting lower once again, pressured by lower markets around the globe. Even though Treasury bonds were a little higher early Tuesday, concerns about higher interest rates ahead continue to pressure stocks ahead of Wednesday morning's report on U.S. producer prices, followed by Thursday morning's report on consumer prices and third-quarter earnings later this week. According to CNBC.com, officials from the World Bank and International Monetary Fund warned of a global recession Monday. November crude oil is trading lower. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 93.91 at 29,202.88 and the S&P 500 down 27.27 at 3,612.39, while the 10-Year Treasury yield increased to 3.89%, near the highest yield in 12 years. Early Friday, December Dow Jones futures are trading down 250 points. Asian markets are mostly lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 2.64% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.19%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 1.46%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 1.06% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.79%. The December euro is up $0.0008 at $.9761. The December U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.03 at 113.10. The December 30-year T-bond is up 14/32nds, while December gold is down $2.10 at $1,673.10 and November crude oil is down $1.98 at $89.15. On China's Dalian exchange, January corn was up 1.4%, November soybeans were up 0.2%, January soybean meal was down 1.1% and January soybean oil was up 0.5%. December Malaysian palm oil is trading down 2.2%.
