DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/12 14:26 Soybean Prices Higher After USDA Report, Wheat Prices End Lower November soybeans closed up 19 3/4 cents after USDA kept its estimate of U.S. ending soybean stocks unchanged at 200 million bushels Wednesday, the lowest in seven years. Corn and wheat also had bullish news in Wednesday's report, but corn prices were steady, and wheat ended lower with some rain in the seven-day forecast. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed unchanged, and July corn was down 1 cent. November soybeans closed up 19 3/4 cents, and July soybeans were up 12 1/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 20 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 18 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 18 1/2 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.05 at 113.18. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 80.09 points at 29,319.28. December gold is down $5.40 at $1,680.60, December silver is down $0.47 at $19.02 and December copper is down $0.0330. November crude oil is down $2.05 at $87.30, November ultra-low sulfur diesel is down $0.0022, November RBOB gasoline is up $0.0013 and November natural gas is down $0.137.
